RECOMMENDATION: The Justice in Action Committee met on June 6, 2019 and by a unanimous vote have made the following recommendations to the Town Council for consideration:
* Robert Campbell, Reappointment, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Planning Seat
* Sarah Cheek, Appointment, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Planning Seat
* Elizabeth Flake, Appointment, Outside Chapel Hill-Carrboro Planning Seat
* Ruby Garcia, Appointment, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Planning Seat
* Jaclyn Gilstrap, Reappointment, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Planning Seat
* Miriam Madison, Appointment, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Planning Seat
SPECIAL REQUEST(S): Holding a vacant seat for Outside Chapel Hill-Carrboro Planning Seat as no additional candidates at time of recommendation. JAIC actively recruiting members who are from outside of the Chapel Hill Carrboro planning jurisdiction. Request to keep seat open and accept recommendation from JIAC in early fall.
