That the Council make appointments to the Board of Adjustment for one (1) County Resident JPA, ETJ or Chapel Hill Resident*, effective immediately, (3) Town Residents, effective July 1, 2018, and one (1) Town Resident Alternate, effective July 1, 2018.

*According to the Joint Planning Agreement1, "If an appointment by the County Commission is unable to be secured within 90 days of a vacancy, the Town Council may fill the vacant seat with a Chapel Hill resident." The County was made aware of this vacancy and has been unable to fill the seat for more than 90 days.
