RECOMMENDATION: The Cultural Arts Commission met on Wednesday, December 18, 2020 to consider applicants for the Commission and by a unanimous vote have made the following recommendation(s) to the Town Council for consideration:
• Marion E Meyer-Robboy, Appointment, Town Resident
SPECIAL REQUEST(s): No Comment.
BACKGROUND The Commission is excited at the prospect of bringing someone with Ms. Meyer-Robboy's international and volunteer leadership experience into our cohort. We all felt strongly that she was the best candidate amongst a pool of excellent and engaged citizens of Chapel Hill. I look forward to your approval of this new Commissioner and to working with them and you to influence the arts and arts policy in our community.
Note: Communications and Public Affairs notes that the Cultural Arts Commission reviewed the following applications: Ian Bowater, Cathy Brigham, Grace Marini, Marion Meyer-Robboy, Ivana Vazquez, and Helena Wolf.
