CONSENT  
All items on the Consent Agenda are considered routine, to be enacted by one  
motion without discussion. Council member(s) may request discussion of an  
item. If such motion passes, then the item is removed from consent and  
considered separately.  
Approval of the Consent Agenda  
A motion was made by Council Member Ryan, seconded by Council  
Member McCullough, to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion  
carried by a unanimous vote.

The Council enacted O-1, O-2, O-3, and O-4, which approved  
miscellaneous budget ordinance amendments for various FY  
2025-26 fund budgets.

The Council adopted R-1, which authorizes the Town Manager to  
execute a development contract with Community Home Trust for  
the Townhomes in the Homestead Gardens Affordable Housing  
Development.

execute a ground lease with Community Home Trust for the  
Townhomes in the Homestead Gardens Affordable Housing  
Development.

execute a development contract with Habitat For Humanity of  
Orange County for the duplexes in the Homestead Gardens  
Affordable Housing Development.

execute a ground lease with Habitat For Humanity of Orange

funding plan for the Human Services Funding Program.  
The Council adopted R-6, which authorizes the Town Manager to  
execute a contract with CW Lawley, Inc. in the amount of  
$62,614.28 for the purchase of land surveying equipment and  
software.

Attorney James Baker.  
The Council adopted R-8, which authorizes the Town Manager to  
execute a contract with Lanier Construction Company in n  
amount of $2,363,978.32 for construction of the Fordham  
Boulevard Sidepath.

The Council enacted O-5, which amends Chapter 21 of the Code  
of Ordinances on Turn Regulations.  
The Council enacted O-6, which amends Chapter 10 of the  
Chapel Hill Town Code to Prohibit Discrimination of Public  
Accommodations and In Employment.  
The Council approved past Work Session and Retreat Minutes.

A motion was made by Mayor pro tem Berry, seconded by  
Council Member Nollert, that the Council entered Into closed  
session as authorized by General Statute Sections  
143-318.11(a)(5) and (143-318.11(a)(6). The motion carried  
by a unanimous vote.  
A motion was made by Mayor pro tem Berry, seconded by  
Council Member McCullough, that the Council adjourn the closed  
session and return to open session. The motion carried by a  
unanimous vote.  
A motion was made by Mayor pro tem Berry, seconded by  
Council Member Sharp, that authorizes the Town Manager to  
execute the option to extend the the option to purchase the  
Wallace Deck. The motion carried by a unanimous vote.

A motion was made by Mayor pro tem Berry, seconded by  
Council Member Sharp, that the Council continued the Council  
Meeting to June 22nd at 6pm in the Council Chambers at 405  
MLK Blvd, Chapel Hill. The motion carried by a unanimous vote.

The Council reappointed David Nahm, and Thomas Wortman,  
and appointed Randy Herman to the Board of Adjustment.  
The Council appointed Sandra Sider to the Historic District  
Commission.
