Overview: The Council adopted its 2022-23 meeting calendar on November 2, 2022. This action amends the Council calendar to incorporate a Special Meeting and amend the time and location for the Work Session on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. It also amends the location of the May 31, 2023 work session.

Recommendation(s):

That the Council adopt a resolution amending the 2022-23 Council calendar to incorporate scheduling changes.

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COUNCIL’S 2022-23 MEETING CALENDAR (2023-05-10/R-6.1)

WHEREAS, on November 2, 2022, the Council adopted its 2022-23 meeting calendar; and

WHEREAS, the Council wishes to call a Special Meeting to enter into closed session prior to the May 17 Work Session; and

WHEREAS, the library meeting rooms are unavailable mid-to late-May for modification.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council amends its 2022-23 meeting calendar as follows:

•                     Add a Special Meeting on May 17, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the First Floor Conference room in Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., NC.

•                     Amend the May 17, 2023 Work Session to start at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber in Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., NC.

•                     Amend the May 31, 2023 Work Session to be held in the Council Chamber in Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., NC. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.
