RECOMMENDATION: The Council Committee: Historic District Commission Interviews met on Thursday, March 9, 2023 and by a unanimous vote made the following recommendation(s) to the Town Council for consideration:

 

                     Michael Booth, Appointment, Town Resident and ETJ members

 

SPECIAL REQUEST(s): The Committee supports the Historic District Commission recommendations

 

BACKGROUND: Michael Booth - based on his experience and Preservation also his work as an architectural designer and familiarity with the Historic District Commission.

 

 

Note: Communications and Public Affairs notes that the Council Committee reviewed the following applications: Michael Booth, Nikkima Santos, and Neal Wolgin. No other applications were received between March 9 and March 17, 2023 for the Historic District Commission. RECOMMENDATION: The Historic District Commission met on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 and by a unanimous vote made the following recommendation(s) to the Town Council for consideration:

 

                     Michael Booth, Appointment Town Resident and ETJ Members

 

SPECIAL REQUEST(s): None

 

BACKGROUND: The Historic District Commission recommended the appointment of Michael Booth based on his experience as an architectural designer and familiarity with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Historic Preservation.

 

They chose to take no action on the application of Neal Wolgin as Neal did not agree to attend the meeting for an interview.

 

 

Note: Communications and Public Affairs notes that the Historic District Commission reviewed the following applications: Michael Booth and Neal Wolgin. One additional application was received but was not reviewed by the Commission: Nikkima Santos. No additional applications were received between February 14, 2023 and March 17, 2023 for the Historic District Commission.
