Town Attorney's Office

Overview: The 2022-23 budget year included pay increases for Town employees to help attract and retain excellent personnel. As is customary, the Town Council deferred the award of a pay increase to the Town Attorney until after their annual evaluation of this Council-appointed employee. The Town Council recently completed their evaluation and are prepared to move forward with a pay increase that reflects increases among Town employees over the past year and further includes a market pay adjustment.

Pursuant to Section 3.B. of the Town Attorney's Employment Contract, Council approved an increase in the Town Attorney's annual compensation, effective July 1, 2022, to a total base annual salary of $201,250.00.

Recommendation(s):
That the Council award pay increase to the Town Attorney, effective July 1, 2022, to $201,250.00.

Fiscal Impact/Resources: Funding for pay increases is provided for in the 2022-23 budget, adopted by the Council.
