Department:
Sabrina Oliver, Director/Town Clerk
Communications and Public Affairs
Amy Harvey, Deputy Town Clerk

Overview: The Council initially established the Criminal Justice Debt Program and associated Advisory Committee in 2020 for one year. The funding and membership were extended through June 30, 2022 by the Council. The Council may want to continue the program with funding through the budget process.

Recommendation(s):
That the Council adopt a resolution to extend the Committee members' terms through June 30 of the following fiscal year if Council allocates Criminal Justice Debt Program funds through the yearly budget process.

Decision Points:
* Given that the Council designated outside agencies to provide members to this Committee, there is an opportunity to automate extending the membership terms based on the funding decision made through the budget process.
