SUBJECT:                     Recommendation to fill 1 Community Policing Advisory Committee Vacancy

RECOMMENDATION: The Community Policing Advisory Committee met on October 27th, 2021, and by a unanimous vote made the following recommendation(s) to the Town Council for consideration:

 

                     Simon Palmore, Appointment to a First term, Town Resident

 

SPECIAL REQUEST(s):  No Comment

 

BACKGROUND: The Community Policing Advisory Committee currently has for 4 vacancies due to a couple resignations and another from a member who moved out of state. The Community Policing Advisory Committee has recommended the appointment of 1 member.

 

 

Note: Communications and Public Affairs notes that the Community Policing Advisory Committee reviewed the following applications: Maria Jose J Chapa, Andrew Gary, Simon N Palmore, and Tim Pressley. No additional applications were received between October 27th, 2021 and November 10, 2021 for the Community Policing Advisory Committee.
