Overview: Staff will provide an overview of the draft Long-Term Recovery and Transformation Plan <https://www.orangencforward.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Final-Draft-Long-Term-Recovery-and-Transformation-Plan.pdf>. The Plan is intended to 1) guide a successful countywide recovery from the broad-reaching impacts of COVID-19; and 2) build resilience, sustainability and racial equity across the county as we move forward from the pandemic. Recommendation(s):

That the Council receive the draft plan and provide any feedback for staff to share with the Project Management Team.

 

Fiscal Impact/Resources: There are no fiscal impacts associated with the draft plan; however, Appendix D of the plan (p. 139-144) describes potential funding sources and states that the “county may need to supplement federal funding with local funding resources and/or private, non-profit, or other sources.”
