Overview: Amplify Consulting will provide Council updates on the work of the Re-Imagining Community Safety Task Force, including summaries of the Listening Sessions and Survey; and preliminary recommendations.

 

Recommendation(s):

That the Council receive information on the Task Force’s progress and preliminary recommendations.

 

Key Issues:

                     Under the continued facilitation of Amplify, the Task Force has agreed to convene for three additional meetings, with the goal of providing Council with more thorough recommendations by the end of May.

 

Fiscal Impact/Resources: The estimated cost of implementation of the Task Force’s preliminary recommendations for the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget is $132,176 total ($97,176 for Street Outreach and $35,000 for neighborhood outreach and meetings).
