That the Council designate a voting delegate to the NC League of Municipalities CityVision 2020 annual conference, which takes place on May 28, 2020 in a virtual environment.
Background
League’s CityVision 2020 annual conference has been cancelled in response to the state’s Coronavirus response. Instead, the event will be held virtually in two parts - the first part includes the annual business meeting on May 28th where the new Board of Directors will be announced.
Each member municipality is eligible to cast a single vote for the League Board of Directors in advance of the annual business meeting.

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A VOTING DELEGATE TO NC LEAGUE OF MUNICIPALITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE (2020-05-06/R-8)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council hereby designates Council Member___________________ to serve as the Council’s voting delegate to the NC League of Municipalities Annual Conference which takes place on May 28, 2020 in a virtual environment.
