Overview: The updated Future Land Use Map, which the Town has been working on for several years, includes: the Guiding Statements which provide overall policy guidance; a town-wide Future Land Use Map showing the future use of properties outside of the identified Focus Areas; the Focus Area Maps and Principles; and a Map Book containing Resiliency Assessment Maps with important background information for rewriting of the Town’s Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO). Tonight, staff presents the complete FLUM for the first time; explains the draft Future Land Use Map; and outlines the revised Engagement & Communication Plan, which responds to COVID-19 conditions.
