Overview: Tonight Dr. David Hartzell, Steven D. Bell and Leonard W. Wood Distinguished Professor in Real Estate and Professor of Finance with the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, will review principles of rental development finance with the Council. Dr. Hartzell will provide insight into the factors private developers consider when evaluating a potential project and how interests in affordable housing impact their decisions.
