A RESOLUTION TO ENDORSE THE TRIANGLE J COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENT’S REVISED CHARTER RESOLUTION (2018-06-13/R-4)
WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill is a member of the Triangle J Council of Governments; and
WHEREAS, Triangle J Council of Government leadership and legal counsel reviewed the organization's Charter Resolution and recommended updates to reflect current practice and the revised boundaries of our region; and
WHEREAS, the Charter Resolution is the organization's governing document and must be endorsed by each member government.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council endorses the adoption of the updated Triangle J Council of Government Charter Resolution, as presented in the June 13, 2018 meeting materials.
