FROM: Council Committee on Orange Water and Sewer Authority (Mayor Pro Tempore Jess Anderson and Council Members Nancy Oates and Michael Parker)
SUBJECT: Recommendation for filling two Chapel Hill Resident vacancies on the OWASA Board of Directors
DATE: May 11, 2018

RECOMMENDATION: The Council Committee on Orange Water and Sewer Authority met on Friday, May 11, 2018, and by a unanimous vote have made the following recommendations to the Town Council for consideration:
* Jeff Danner, Reappointment, Chapel Hill Resident
* Bruce Boehm, Appointment, Chapel Hill Resident


SPECIAL REQUEST(S): None

BACKGROUND: The Council Committee on Orange Water and Sewer Authority recommends the reappointment of incumbent Jeff Danner, as he has done excellent work in his first term on the OWASA Board of Directors. The Committee also recommends the appointment of Bruce Boehm, having found that the combination of engineering and financial expertise he brings would be an asset on the Board.
