SUBJECT: Recommendation for the Environmental Stewardship Advisory Board vacancy(s)

DATE: April 10, 2018

RECOMMENDATION: The Environmental Stewardship Advisory Board met on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 and by a unanimous vote have made the following recommendations to the Town Council for consideration:
Greenways Advocate Seat
* First choice: Dr. Hui Ding, Appointment
* Second choice: Michael Vollbracht, Appointment
Business Owner/Manager Seat
* Mary Metcalf, Reappointment
Chapel Hill Resident Seat
* First choice: Tom Henkel, Reappointment
* Second choice: Shugong Wang, Appointment

SPECIAL REQUEST(S): For applicants applying for multiple boards (Ding, Henkel), a second recommendation is provided.

BACKGROUND: The Board noted that each of the recommended applicants demonstrated an interest in environmental stewardship and attended Board meetings.
