Overview: The purpose of this report is to provide the Council with an overview of the process underway to develop a Public Housing Master Plan. The process includes a multi-phased approach to assess the current conditions of our housing portfolio. We also received feedback from our residents about their satisfaction and wish list items for improving their communities. These components will inform decisions regarding renovation, rehabilitation or potential redevelopment of our properties. Tonight, we ask the Council for feedback on preliminary recommendations for our Public Housing Master Plan. We will return in the fall for the Council’s review of a final Plan.

That the Council receive the preliminary recommendations regarding a Public Housing Master Plan and provide feedback.
Fiscal Impact/Resources: There is no fiscal impact associated with tonight’s discussion. If the Council chooses to adopt a Master Plan, there would be multiple decisions related to funding the development and redevelopment of our sites.
