BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
Two pages on our website have been created to track:
• Public hearings scheduled for upcoming council meetings; and
• Petitions received, including their status and who you can call for information.
The goal is to provide, easily available spaces, information that allows people to know when council will be seeking their comments on a particular topic of development and to know the status of a petition submitted at council meetings.
In addition to being on the website, these pages will be included in each agenda council information.
TRADEOFFS, ALTERNATIVES, IMPACTS
Staff time was allocated to create the semi-automated web pages, and additional time will be needed for maintenance.
