Overview: At the December 6, 2017 Organizational Meeting, the Council established a list of Council liaisons and representatives to various boards. As the Council moves into a new year, there is an interest to alternate roles on the Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board.

Recommendation:

That the Council adopt a resolution appointing Council Member Michael Parker as the voting member and Mayor Pam Hemminger as the alternate member on the Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board.

A RESOLUTION MAKING COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS TO THE METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION POLICY BOARD (2018-12-05/R-4.1)

WHEREAS, the Council established a list of Council liaisons and representatives to various boards at the December 6, 2017 Organizational Meeting; and

WHEREAS, there is an interest to alternate roles on the Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council appoints Council Member Michael Parker as the voting member and Mayor Pam Hemminger as the alternate member on the Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board.
