Overview: The attached staff report provides updates about how the Town is implementing the Council’s adopted Climate Action and Response Plan. <https://online.flippingbook.com/view/857144275/> The projects associated with these updates are led by staff across the organization and are broken out into four main action categories: (1) buildings & energy, (2) transportation & land use, (3) water, wastewater & natural resources, and (4) resiliency. Some of the actions within the report are labeled as Council priorities, which refers to feedback the staff received in 2020-2021 when the Climate Action and Response Plan was developed and adopted. 

 

Recommendation(s):

That the Council receive the information.

 

Fiscal Impact/Resources: The attached staff report includes a series of actions that are funded by the Town’s Climate Action Fund, other Town resources, and various grant awards. There are no additional fiscal impacts associated with this update.
