BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
The Town started the process to develop a new Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan fall 2024. This two-year planning process, which engages community and receives public input, provides a foundation for understanding and responding to a community's parks and recreation needs. It involves strategically examining a community's vision, existing services, facilities, and resources and assessing future needs concerning parks, recreation, and open space. This presentation will provide an overview of the project including the equitable engagement strategy.

Open space, natural areas, greenways, recreation events, programs, and facilities are key elements of the Complete Community Strategy.
