Overview: At the Council Work Session on January 9, Council participated in an activity to consider which components of density, intensity, and character should be included for each Focus Area on the Future Land Use Map. A brief overview of the results from this activity will be presented.

Recommendation(s): |
That the Council provide feedback to staff on the proposed future land uses for each Focus Area.
Decision Points:
• Consider the character, density, and intensity of each Focus Area, which include:
o North Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd;
o South Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd;
o North 15-501;
o Downtown;
o NC 54; and
o South 15-501.
Fiscal Impact/Resources: Requiring additional analysis, at this point in the FLUM Refinement Project, may necessitate additional funds beyond the existing contract with the Project consultant.
