Overview: At the request of the applicant, staff recommends continuing the Legislative Hearing for the 157 East Rosemary Conditional Zoning Application to November 29, 2023 without receiving application details. Council previously opened and continued the hearing on September 27, 2023.
Recommendation(s):
That the Council adopt the resolution to continue the Legislative Hearing to November 29, 2023.

A RESOLUTION CONTINUING THE LEGISLATIVE HEARING AND CONSIDERATION TO AMEND THE CHAPEL HILL ZONING ATLAS TO RESIDENTIAL-COMMUNITY PRIORITY-CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT (R-CP-CZD) FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 157 EAST ROSEMARY STREET TO NOVEMBER 29, 2023 (2023-10-25/R-8)
WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill provided Legislative Hearing notice for September 27, 2023 to consider a Conditional Zoning Application for 157 East Rosemary Street, from Town Center-2 (TC-2) to Residential-Community Priority-Conditional Zoning District (R-CP-CZD); and
WHEREAS, on September 27, 2023, the Council opened the Legislative Hearing and continued the hearing to October 25, 2023, without receiving any information or discussion; and
WHEREAS, on October 9, 2023, the applicant requested that the item be continued to November 29, 2023, to allow additional time to finalize the details of their application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council continues the Legislative Hearing for 157 East Rosemary and consideration of this item to November 29, 2023.
