Overview: This annual report on Chapel Hill Public Housing for FY 23 Annual Report. items of note are:
1. Trinity Court close to breaking ground (Fall 2023)
2. First conversion of gas ranges to electric ranges complete.
3. Finance Bootcamp underway for tenants
Key Issues:
• We have two major vacancies on our Administrative Team. We are in the process of hiring a Housing Officer II and a Management
• 76% of tenants paying rent by the 5th of the month. A 1% decrease since the last Quarter report.
We are working with the Community Connections Team to have all HUD required documents translated by 2/1/24. (Admissions, Transfer request, Income change, and Re-certifications)
Fiscal Impact: There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
