BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
Designating a Council member to serve as the municipality’s NCLM voting delegate is an annual requirement tied to the League’s Board of Directors election process. Each member municipality must select and submit its voting delegate on or before April 13, 2026, after which the delegate will receive credentials and instructions to cast electronic votes April 13 - April 21, 2026. This designation ensures the Town’s participation in approving the Nominating Committee’s proposed slate and engaging fully in the statewide municipal governance process.
