BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
During the meeting, Professor Carl Stenberg from the UNC School of Government will share best practices for the evaluation of local government managers. He will lead the Council through a discussion of a proposed evaluation instrument and take feedback for finalizing an instrument that will be used at the Town Manager's annual review to be conducted later this year. The Council Retreat Meeting Summary includes priorities and measures of success which may inform an evaluation instrument.
