Overview: The Council adopted its 2023 meeting calendar on June 14, 2023. This action amends the Council calendar to change the Organizational meeting to the December 18 meeting.

Recommendation(s):

That the Council adopt a resolution amending the 2023 Council calendar to incorporate scheduling changes.

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COUNCIL’S 2023 MEETING CALENDAR (2023-09-13/R-4)

WHEREAS, on June 14, 2023, the Council adopted its 2023 meeting calendar; and

WHEREAS, several council members have a conflict with the December 6 organizational meeting date;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council amends its 2023 meeting calendar as follows:

•                     Remove the December 6, 2023 Organizational Meeting to start at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber in Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., NC.

•                     Add the December 18, 2023 Organizational Meeting to start at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber in Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., NC.
