NCGS 160A-174 provides for the creation of Ordinances through enactment by the Council. Creations, modifications, and/or deletions are required to be presented to Council for approval.
BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
The updated LUMO seeks to provide improvements in the areas of:
§ User friendliness;
§ Housing diversity, attainability, and supply;
§ Economic development and land use;
§ Built environment and the public realm;
§ Environment and resilience.
COMPLETE COMMUNITY CONNECTION
An updated to the Land Use Management Ordinance is a major step towards implementing the Town’s Complete Community Strategy.
