LEGISLATIVE CONTEXT*
G.S. § 160A-148(5): The manager shall prepare and submit the annual budget and capital program to the council.
BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
The FY 2025-2026 Manager’s Recommended Budget includes a combined tax rate of 50 cents per $100 of assessed value.
The Recommended budget for 2025-26 recognizes Council’s most important goals and invests in strategic initiatives to achieve those objectives. We look forward to working with Council to continue offering the core services our residents expect.
