Overview: The Council needs to recommend a replacement for the vacancy created by Mayor pro tem Michael Parker. He became the GoTriangle representative on the Board.

Recommendation(s):

That the Council appoint Council Member Amy Ryan to the Chapel Hill Alternate seat on the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization Board.

A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT COUNCIL MEMBER AMY RYAN TO THE CHAPEL HILL ALTERNATE SEAT ON THE DURHAM-CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION BOARD (2020-06-24/R-15)

WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill has two members who serve on the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization Board; and

WHEREAS, Mayor pro tem Michael Parker became the GoTriangle representative on the Board.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council appoints Council Member Amy Ryan to the Chapel Hill Alternate seat on the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization Board.
