Overview: The Public Housing Annual Report tracks the progress of departmental goals governed by four sources:
• The Department of Housing & Urban Development’s (HUD) Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) and Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) Inspection
• The Public Housing Master Plan
• The Admission & Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)
• Public Housing internal performance indicators

Recommendation(s): |
That the Council receive the Public Housing Fiscal 2022 Annual Report.
Report Highlights:
• HUD Inspections conducted in April 2022; a new PHAS score will be released in late September.
• Measures taken by staff to continue implementation of the Public Housing Master Plan goals and objectives.
• Introduction to and explanation of the Public Housing Admissions & Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP).
• Continued programming and partnering with Community Partners to maintain tenant engagement.
• Goals for Fiscal Year 2023.
