BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
The Town Council adopted a budget for fiscal year 2026-27 that includes a 4% pay increase for Town employees. As is its normal practice, the Council waits until completing the annual performance evaluation of the Town Manager before considering a pay increase for this Council-appointed position.
The Council has completed the Town Manager’s evaluation and is prepared to award the same pay increase that was approved for other Town employees.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding for employee pay increases, including the Town Manager’s increase, is included in the adopted fiscal year 2026-27 budget.
