SUBJECT: Recommendation for the County Resident JPA, ETJ or Chapel Hill Town Resident vacancy

RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Commission met on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 and by a 5:3 vote made the following recommendation to the Town Council for consideration:
• James Baxter, Appointment, County Resident JPA, ETJ or Chapel Hill Town Resident
SPECIAL REQUEST(s):
BACKGROUND: Katherine Roberts was not reappointed by the Orange County Board of Commissioners. This seat remains vacant. Mr. Baxter was the only candidate to attend the entire meeting.
Note: Communications and Public Affairs notes that the Planning Commission reviewed the following eligible applications: James Baxter and Michael Murphy. No additional applications have been received between November 5, 2019 and November 6, 2019 for the Planning Commission.
