Overview: Council adopted a resolution in June 2005 asking University Officials to participate in semi-annual meetings to provide updates on University development projects. At that time, the University was in a significant construction period, which has since ended.
As staff meets monthly with University staff to discuss University development projects, necessary information with Town Council will be shared on an as-needed basis. Staff recommends discontinuing the ongoing University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill development project updates to Town Council.

|
Recommendation(s): |
That the Council adopt the resolution discontinuing the semi-annual reports due to the Town regarding development projects on campus.
Key Issues:
• To reduce meeting time, we are piloting a process to share information items in a packet instead of presenting at Council meeting.
• Town staff will forward relevant information to the Town Council.
• Bi-annual transportation impact analysis reports would not be impacted.
• The current semi-annual report is attached for your information.
