Overview: The Town Charter <https://library.municode.com/nc/chapel_hill/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=SUA_CH_CHIIIMACO_S3.3RESPEMME> and the Town Code <https://library.municode.com/nc/chapel_hill/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=CO_CH2AD_ARTIINGE_S2-3REMECO> state that the Council shall fix suitable times for its regular meetings. Adopting the calendar establishes Business and Public Hearing meetings, Work Sessions and other meetings.

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A CALENDAR OF COUNCIL MEETINGS THROUGH JUNE 2019 (2018-06-13/R-5)
WHEREAS, the Town Charter <https://library.municode.com/nc/chapel_hill/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=SUA_CH_CHIIIMACO_S3.3RESPEMME> and the Town Code <https://library.municode.com/nc/chapel_hill/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=CO_CH2AD_ARTIINGE_S2-3REMECO> state that the Council shall fix suitable times for its regular meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council adopts the following meeting schedule for January through June of 2019.

1 Unless otherwise noted, Council Business and Public Hearing meetings start at 7:00 p.m. and are held in the Chapel Hill Town Hall, Council Chamber (405 MLK Jr Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514); Council Work Sessions start at 6:30 p.m. and are held at the Chapel Hill Public Library, Meeting Room B, (100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514)
2 It is anticipated that the Council will go into closed session, as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11(a)(6) to discuss a personnel matter.
3 Business and Public Hearing meetings are shifted back a week due to the Sept 23-25 Inter-City Visit in Lawrence, KS
