RECOMMENDATION: The Council Committee: Community Design Commission Interviews met on Thursday, October 01, 2020 and by a unanimous vote made the following recommendation(s) to the Town Council for consideration:
• • Edward “Ted” Hoskins, Reappointment
SPECIAL REQUEST(s): The Committee supports the recommendation of the Community Design Commission to leave the remaining seat(s) open and solicit additional applications from the public.
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Hoskins is a current member of the Community Design Commission and has lived and worked in Chapel Hill for more than 40 years. He is an experienced architect and has been a collaborative and meaningful contributor to the Commission’s work on behalf of the community. He is a thoughtful and considerate steward of Chapel Hill’s aesthetic and supports the idea of design districts that recognize the unique characteristics of our various neighborhoods.
