Overview: The Council adopted its 2022-23 meeting calendar on November 2, 2022. This action amends the Council calendar to incorporate the Special Meeting for a Closed Session, the Legislative Breakfast and removes the canceled Assembly of Governments meeting.

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COUNCIL’S 2022-23 MEETING CALENDAR (2023-01-11/R-4)
WHEREAS, on November 2, 2022, the Council adopted its 2022-23 meeting calendar; and
WHEREAS, the Council needs to schedule a Special Meeting to enter into closed session to discuss a personnel matter; and
WHEREAS, the Council holds a yearly meeting with the State Legislative representatives from Orange County; and
WHEREAS, the Mayors of Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Carrboro and the Chair of the Orange County Board of Commissioners have decided to cancel the Assembly of Governments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council amends its 2022-23 meeting calendar to add the following meetings:
• January 12, 2023 Special Meeting to enter into closed session to discuss a personnel matter at 7:00 p.m. in Room 344, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Chapel Hill, NC 27514
• January 24, 2023 Council Legislative Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Room B, Chapel Hill Public Library, 100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council removes the following meeting
• January 24, 2023 Assembly of Governments meeting
