Overview: The Legislative Hearing for the 157 E Rosemary Street Conditional Zoning Application is noticed for tonight’s meeting. Due to concerns around the ability for community members to attend the originally scheduled hearing, staff recommends the Legislative Hearing be opened without receiving the application details and then continued to October 25, 2023.

A RESOLUTION OPENING AND RECESSING THE LEGISLATIVE HEARING AND CONSIDERATION TO AMEND THE CHAPEL HILL ZONING ATLAS TO RESIDENTIAL-COMMUNITY PRIORITY-CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT (R-CP-CZD) FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 157 EAST ROSEMARY STREET TO OCTOBER 25, 2023 (2023-09-27/R-6)
WHEREAS, the Town of Chapel Hill provided Legislative Hearing notice for September 27, 2023 to consider a Conditional Zoning Application for 157 East Rosemary Street, from Town Center-2 (TC-2) to Residential-Community Priority-Conditional Zoning District (R-CP-CD); and
WHEREAS, community members requested consideration of the application be continued to October 25, 2023, to allow opportunity for more attendance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council opens and recesses the Legislative Hearing for the Conditional Zoning Application for 157 East Rosemary Street and consideration of this item to October 25, 2023.
