Overview: The Council called a public hearing for February 12, which was later continued to March, 2020. The COVID-19 State of Emergency has impacted the Public Hearing process, and staff requests this public hearing be closed at this time and re-noticed at a future date.

A RESOLUTION CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE LAND USE MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE 5 REGARDING PARKING LIMITATIONS IN TOWN CENTER, TOWN CODE CHAPTER 11A OFF-STREET PARKING, AND A COUNCIL POLICY ON PARKING (2020-06-10/R-3)
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2019 <https://chapelhill.legistar.com/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=4244241&GUID=1858B2CC-911B-4BC6-8D9F-9A8E43AA8A69&Options=&Search=>, the Council considered authorizing the Town Manager to proceed with Financial Planning for West End Parking Deck and called a Public Hearing on February 12, 2020 related to the Parking Payment-in-Lieu Program.; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council called a Public Hearing for the Land Use Management Text Amendment pertaining to establishing parking limitations for the Town Center zoning districts and changes to the Town Code Chapter 11A Off-street parking for March 25, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the COVID-19 State of Emergency has impacted the process and staff has requested the Public Hearing be closed with further consideration in the future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Public Hearing, described above, be closed.
