LEGISLATIVE CONTEXT*
The Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO), Town Code Appendix A Section 8.1 requires the Town Council, in its legislative capacity, to consider proposed amendments to the LUMO.
BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT*
The proposed revisions would modify the Historic Rogers Road Neighborhood Housing and Employment Mixed-Use Subdistrict. The changes are proposed to better meet the goals of the Historic Rogers Road community. Please see the Staff Report for more information.
TRADEOFFS, ALTERNATIVES, IMPACTS
The proposed changes creates a buffer as well as a transition zone between the Housing and Employment Mixed-Use Subdistrict and adjoining residentially zoned properties. The changes add commercial uses including bank, business-convenience, and business-general, and multifamily over 10 units as permitted uses.
