Adopting the calendar establishes Regular meetings, Work Sessions, and other meetings.

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A CALENDAR OF COUNCIL MEETINGS THROUGH JUNE 2024 (2023-11-15/R-4)
WHEREAS, the Town Charter <%3chttps:/library.municode.com/nc/chapel_hill/codes/code_of_ordinances> and the Town Code <%3chttps:/library.municode.com/nc/chapel_hill/codes/code_of_ordinances> state that the Council shall fix suitable times for its regular meetings; and
WHEREAS, the Council wants to conduct a closed session in November.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council adopt the following meeting schedule for January through June 2024

1 Unless otherwise noted, Council Regular and Organizational meetings are held at 7 PM in the Chapel Hill Town Hall, Council Chamber (405 MLK Jr Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514); Council Work Sessions are held at 6:30 PM in the Chapel Hill Public Library, Meeting Room B, (100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514)
2 It is anticipated that the Council will go into closed session, as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11(a)(6) to discuss a personnel matter.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council amends its 2023-24 meeting calendar as follows:
• Add the November 27, 2023 Special Meeting to start at 6:00 p.m. in the First Floor Conference Room, Town Hall, 405 MLK Jr Blvd.
