Overview: The Development Plan for the main campus of UNC-Chapel Hill requires the University to provide annual reports to Council regarding transportation-related impacts of development on campus.

Recommendation(s): |
That the Council receive the report from UNC-Chapel Hill staff regarding transportation-related impacts of development on campus.
Key Issues:
• On June 27, 2005, the Council approved a resolution requesting that the University submit an Annual Development Plan Report on Transportation associated with development in the Office/Institutional-4 (OI-4) zoning district on the University campus. The Council also approved the guidelines for the development of the Report. A copy of the resolution and the guidelines is attached.
• This overview transmits the 2023 report. The Council previously received the reports from 2005 to 2022. The 2023 report includes updated traffic information that could not be gathered in previous years due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
